DANCE SPACES

This is the Revelle Fountain Quad. You can find Galbraith Hall/Clics on the southern end of the quad, right behind the fountain!

This hall has been recently rebuilt and houses many dance rooms.

Many actual dance rooms have to be booked in order to be used - or you test your luck hoping they are open. But the windows at Clics provide for excellent mirrors!

Geisel Library
Located in University Center.
Geisel Library is home to all students of UCSD, regardless of your major. On the outdoor thirdfloor many teams meet to prepare for a performance - usually one that is held on Library walk right in front of the Library. This space is always free. The downside, there are no mirrors provided. But, the tall walls make nice acoustics for small speakers to become amplified!

Whenever you type in UCSD into your GPS devices it usually tells you to take Villa La Jolla Dr. into the campus. This building sits at the very end of that entrance and is usually the first thing UCSD students see when arriving.

Gilman Parking Structure is also home to a secret Dance Space that's totally underground!

At the very top of these steps is another platform where students like to dance.

Gilman/Conrad
Located in Sixth College.
This parking lot is much more than what it seems. Starting around 8 pm, you can find many dance teams begin showing up around this structure. This is because the underground level of the lot provides a space which amplifies sound, is flat, and is wide enough to space dancers. Across the street from Gilman is the Conrad Prebys Music Center - another wide open space that provides nice accoustics.
