UCSD's Ascension is our campus's premier - and currently only - competitive dance team. Being the campus's only competitive team, they represent only the finest of our campus's dancers. Ascension's roster is filled with UCSD's most top level dancers and as such are always expected to perform above expectations. They are a family of passion and excitement for dance that knows how to play hard and work harder.

"Ascension was founded in 1999 and embraces the principles of community in order to create a family for many at UCSD. Rather than constantly comparing ourselves to other teams, we strive to be become better than the team we were yesterday, learning from and helping one another, all while having a great time."
